Sharp curve ahead…

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

There is no better feeling in life than that of knowing you were well ahead of your fellow citizens.  Let’s be honest…we all want to be able to say that we were “the first” to do something and since I can’t claim to be the first blogger in history (I’m only 1,825 days behind – give or take a leap day or two) I’m thrilled to be able to claim this next honor.

It was July 17, 2008.  I was in mid-town for reasons I will not divulge (hey, it is my blog) and had been forced to park in the worlds smallest, most ill-configured parking garage.  Seriously…if these are the brainiacks who are constructing our roads and bridges we should all say a “Hail Mary” before ever putting ass to driver’s seat.  Put the trusty Honda into reverse and go about my — DAMMIT!!!  What the f*bomb*OLA just happened???  F*ck.  I got out to see a “bend-me-over-at-the-bodyshop” bumper replacement.

Fast forward to early September.  The hubs and I attended a Friday night event which featured a more…shall we say…*conservative* audience.  There was a dude there handing out little bumper stickers that said “O Crap!” on them.  Not being the bumper sticker type I politely smiled and put it in my purse.  Then…it occured to me.  Hole-in-bumper-eye-sore fixed!  It’s not a bumper sticker — it’s bumper spackle!  Of course it helps that my car just so happens to be black for easy blend action.

Seems these funny little stickers have quite the cult following these days.  Don’t believe me?  Go check it out for yourselves — and knowing you all, I know you will.
